Katie and Ryan's Romantic Black and White Wedding

Katie and Ryan's wedding is giving me all the classic, formal, and elegant feels today. These two lovebirds were married over Thanksgiving weekend surrounded by hundreds of guests and an amazing bridal party. The ceremony took place at St. Xavier downtown and the reception was held at The Grand in Covington.

Christen of Everleigh Photography took the most absolutely amazing photos. I had the hardest time narrowing down to my favorites for this post. There's a special place in my heart for photographers who take details shots. :)

I love the classic look of the men in black tuxes and the bridesmaids in the long black gowns. And don't even get me started on Katie; doesn't she look like a supermodel! Her dress was absolutely perfect for her and her big day.

To complement the formality of the long gowns and tuxes, we designed lush white bouquets with blush and silver accents and small touches of greenery. I loved working with the White O'Hara garden roses in particular because they have the most lovely scent. And I was really excited to catch the beginning of winter peony season and add a few white blooms to Katie's bouquet.

I had so much fun working with Ryan and Katie on their wedding and helping their floral vision come to life. They are so much fun and I was so happy to be apart of their big day.
